Problem with Citrix Web interface

Hi everyone,

I am in the middle of a project that requires me to test Xenapp 5.0. I am new to Citrix but after some research decided to give it a go.

I am running Xenapp on a VM running Windows 2003 SP2. I managed to install Xenapp with no issues but I am unable to access it with either plugin.

The error I have logged on the server's event viewer is related to the Citrix Web Interface.

Site path: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\XenApp.

The Citrix XML Service object was not found: 404 Not Found. This message was reported from the XML Service at address http://localhost:80/scripts/wpnbr.dll [com.citrix.xml.NFuseProtocol.RequestCapabilities]. The specified Citrix XML Service could not be contacted and has been temporarily removed from the list of active services. [Unique Log ID: 335e3f7e]

The error I get on the web browser is:

The system could not log you on. Ensure that you entered your details correctly and try again. If you are still unable to log on, contact your system administrator as your credentials may be invalid or there may be a problem with the authentication system.

This server only has xenapp installed and IIS only has this single site created by the Citrix Web Interface wizard with the default settings except for the below:

XML Service - lanw2k3xenapp.prolegal.co.uk
XML Port: 80
XML Transport: HTTP

Auth point: At Web Interface
Avaiil Methods: Explicit

I hope the above is enough information, should it not be please let accept my appologies

Thanks in advance guys
