Suppose you have an Access frontend, mdb or accdb. And this frontend has a linked table. that table is located in another Access mdb.
Now let's imagine another Access frontend with no linked tables. But it has a query to an external Access mdb. Something like "Select * From tblOrders In 'C:\databases\OrdersDB.mdb';"

Now you're trying to do all those typical things that are done in such Access applications with these 2 frontends - like reading, writing and deleting data, the first - with the data in the linked table, and the second - with the data brought to us by that query pointing to the external mdb.

Do these two frontends behave the same - in reliability, effectiveness and speed?

P.S. Let's assume it is a multi-user environment.
