Hi experts

I'm writing MFC application which is rtf - editor with multilanguage support. Application operator can write text in different languages and charsets (e.g. ANSI_CHARSET, EASTEUROPE_CHARSET, RUSSIAN_CHARSET) and then text is saved in database. Editor is based on CRichEditCtrl. One document can contain characters from many languages.

My question is how to get unicode number of entered characters (according to their charset and language)?
I keep such informations for each character that is entered by operator (language, charset, style etc.) so I can do it after operator finish edition. I need to convert all characters which are not base ascii (<0x7f) to format ('\uXXXX?).

Is it possible at all? If not, is there another solution?

Thanks for all help
