Even the x64 CPUs support x86 OSs. If you are getting a BSOD on the install disc, there is either a problem with the laptop, or the install media. <br />

The processor for that system appears to have been the Core 2 Duo, which does support x64, but not require it.

I want to nuke it and put XP on it but my CD causes a BSOD. <br />
Im thinking this is happening as its an XP CD 32 bit.<br />

It says Win Vista Business OEM on the MS lablel.
