Ok. I am trying to set up a crontab. I am also trying to view the crontab in emacs.
I entered the command
 echo '10 * * * * /bin/sh /home/uila3/rhuff/doh/getso4script.sh | crontab'
. I was trying to run the script getso4script.sh every hour on minute 10. When I entered the command I simply got the command line prompt with no output. When I ran the crontab -l command I get the command line prompt again. There is no error message. I then try to see if I can edit crontab in emacs by entering emacs crontab and the emacs editor pops up with a blank screen but it says [new file]. How can I see if my existing command is set  up? I have two seperate servers and on one server the crontab -l works fine but on the other it simply gives me a blank promt i.e.

uila% crontab -l
