I was recently considering adding 4 more drives to the empty HD bays on our server.  It is setup with Hardware RAID5.  I haven't yet added drives to a raid set, with the exception of replacing defunct drives with new ones, and adding to a RAID-Z (or something along those lines) on a ReadyNAS which automatically adds the drive to the the pool of existing drives and automatically deals with it as a member of the RAID set..

Once added, do I run the config again, or should it be automatic?  I also have a G5 Proliant ML350.
