I copied a VMware VM from one PC to another but it is in a saved state and crashes each time i load it, how do I get rid of the saved state?

Now I know I can just re-copy it but a lot of changes have been done in that time before I realized that it was in a saved state. Can this be corrected.

I am using VMware Player 3.1
