Mac losing connection to shared folder on Windows SBS 2008 after reboot

Hello!  Have 5 macs running OS X 10.4 and above connected to shared folders on a Windows SBS 2008 server.  All works fine after the shared folder is setup to the server on the Macs, however when the server is rebooted (e.g., for updates) the shared folder disappears and we have to reconnect to the server share for each of the Macs.  What is causing this problem and is there a way to keep the shared folder connection from disappearing on the Macs?

Thanks jhyiesla - I tried the first option and rebooted the Windows server but the shared folder disappeared until I logged off and logged back on to the Mac.  I am looking for a way so the users won't have to logoff and log back on when the server reboots or if they take their Mac laptop home and bring it back to the office to reconnect.

Not very familar with Applescript to create an application to see if this will do the trick.  How do I use the sample script you provided to create an application to automate this process?

You can take the script I sent and replace the info with your server names and share names.  The Apple Script editor should be in the Utilities folder under Applications in Finder. You can copy and paste what I did and then make the appropriate substitutions. Then compile it with the editor and you should be ready to go.
Have completed this and perhaps I am missing something.  When I reboot the server the 2 shared folders (created with the script) disappear on the Mac desktop.  After the server reboots, I then logoff and log back on the Mac user and they reappear.  Is there anyway for this to work without the user having to logoff and log back on to their Mac?

Ah - thank you.  I think I will advise the users to do the option of logging off as it is very simple for them, but your help with this script and using it in the Accounts > Login will make this easier!
I was hoping to find a complete way around this so it won't impact the users, but the workaround solution provided will do the trick.
