ASKER
..the snapshot is large 160GB.
I haven't vcenter, my vsphere is connected to esx directly, now I can exit vsphere and then I open vsphere for to check if snapshot remove is always to 95% ?

Also - you need a lot of free space on your datastore to delete snapshots for VMware work area. Do you have about 200 GB free?
ASKER
no, I have 158GB free space..this is a problem for to remove snapshot ?

If there is only one level of snapshot you should be OK. Most problems occur when there are multiple levels. This is because suppose you have a small initial snapshot, and a large second snapshot. When VMware goes to delete the snapshots it will merge the large one to the small one (makeing the small one up to the combined size of the two), then merge the result into the base disk. Only after the process is complete does VMware delete the snapshot vmdks.
Is this the onsy snapshot.

ASKER
yes, for this VM there is one level snapshot.

You should be good then. It will only merge into the base disk, and the base disk won't grow beyond its allocated size.
ASKER
ok, I wainting until tomorrow.

Good deal - often patience is the key when deleteing large snapshots
1. The snapshot is large and can take a great amount of time to remove
2. The management agent has hung and it is actually finished
To test for #2, try to attach your vSphere client directly to the ESX(i) host (assuming your are attached to vCenter Server) and see if it shows 95% there. If so restart the management agents on the ESX(i) host and check again.
If you are still seeing 95% give it some more time... it is actually working on it.
Good Luck
