Hi

I've put this code in my index.html:

<body>
<script>
function EvalSound(soundobj) {
  var thissound=document.getElementById(soundobj);
  thissound.Play();
}
</script>

<form onsubmit="return false" >
<p class="style4">Titre.</p>
<input type="image"  src="10.jpg" onClick="EvalSound('sound1')">

</form>
<embed src="pub1.mp3" autostart=false width=0 height=0 id="sound1" enablejavascript="true">
</body>

I want to play a mp3 when they click in the image. in IE works but in firefox it ask me to install a plugin quicktime. Is there any other way to play an mp3 without asking to install a plugin no matter the browser ?

Unfortunately you have to download a firefox plugin to play mp3. There is no other way around.

You may have to enable FF if you want the mp3 to play.

I've changed my code to:

<p class="style4"></p>
<p class="style4">Audio</p>
<object height="7%" width="14%" type="audio/mp3">
<param name="FileName" value="testaudio.mp3" />
</object>

IE is ok. firefox is not. I've installed the plugin quicktime , I do what asidu say about his link. but nothing.
If i open my page in firefox i have the message that i need to install a plugin, i click in the button to install but when firefox do the research it says it didn't find any plugin.
