Hi, I have 3 Server 2008R2 installations running as VM's in VMWare ESXi. I'm currently evaluating long term backup solutions, but in the short term I installed an iSCSI SAN (Openfiler) successfully and planned on backing up the systems using Windows Server Backup.

So, I would like all 3 servers to perform full and incremental backups to the same drive (iSCSI connection). But when I did the first server backup, I somehow selected an option in Windows Server Backup (WSB) the made the disk drive disappear from view. I'm OK with this but now I'm worried about using WSB on the other two servers and mapping them to the iSCSI drive. If the first server has formatted and hidden this volume then how would doing the same on two other servers do?

Basically I'm looking for the best way to use iSCSI drive as a central storage for Windows 2008 R2 backups for multiple servers. Thanks!
