DHCP server is handing out old DNS addresses

We have replaced our DHCP server with a Windows 2008 DC.  We installed DHCP and put in the router, DNS, and domain name.  When we do a /release then /renew, the DNS numbers are correct.  Less than 2 hours later, the DNS addresses have changed to our old DNS servers (both primary and seconday change).  Everything else is still correct.  It shows the correct DHCP server, it has the correct IP address, just the DNS numbers are from our old servers.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I would verify there are no other DHCP servers running.  Stop the DHCP service on the new server and see if you can still do a release/renew.

run set l on the command prompt and see which server the DC is login in.  Check the settings on that server.
Are the old servers still up?

I stoped the DHCP service and the release/renew failed.  The set command shows the correct DC/DHCP server.  I have one of the old servers on for users who have the incorrect DNS settings.  Nothing scientific here but most Vista/Win 7 computers have the incorrect DNS and most XP computers have the correct DNS addresses....
Try stopping the DNS Client on one or two of the Vista/Win 7 machines..  See if the problem goes away.
if you have 2 dhcp servers on the lan you could be serviced by either... its sorta random like that..
I stopped the DNS Client but the issue continues.....
dns  is not dhcp  2 different servers...
you should stop the other dhcp server..
