&nbsp; I am using centos 5 with gnome. &nbsp;Somehow I deleted consolehelper (not in the trash) from /usr/bin, and now I can not open any system-config programs. &nbsp;For example - system-administration-syst<wbr />em security and firewall, will not open.<br />

&nbsp; So I searched the machine, and found a package containing &quot;consolehelper.8&quot; .. So I extracted it, and dropped it into /usr/bin , and renamed it to consolehelper. &nbsp;But all that did was resolve the broken symbolic link, and unfortunately still does not open system security and firewall. &nbsp;<br />

Does anyone know how I can restore console helper to avoid a full centos reinstall ???
