Linux Consolehelper deleted - how to get it back and working
Hello,
I am using centos 5 with gnome. Somehow I deleted consolehelper (not in the trash) from /usr/bin, and now I can not open any system-config programs. For example - system-administration-syst em security and firewall, will not open.
So I searched the machine, and found a package containing "consolehelper.8" .. So I extracted it, and dropped it into /usr/bin , and renamed it to consolehelper. But all that did was resolve the broken symbolic link, and unfortunately still does not open system security and firewall.
Does anyone know how I can restore console helper to avoid a full centos reinstall ???
