Currently, we have images that have not been updated in awhile.. (not my choice) and that does not look like it's going to change for another few months.  The problem I am running into is Windows Updating with SCCM for these newly built workstations.  Now, I wait for the helpdesk to call (if they decide to call) when they build a new machine and I will put the machines in an update collection.  Is there a way to automate this?  In other words, once the machine has the agent installed is there a way for it to know it needs to install the updates?

Also,  Do is it reccomended to add the SCCM agent install to an image?

Thank You.
