Mac OSX Entourage RPC over HTTPS. Worked on Linksys, can't get working on CIsco

I replaced a Linksys router/firewall with a Cisco 1921 and cannot get Entourage to connect over rpc over https

Emails to regular Outlook clients work, and Exchange Activesync is properly sending emails to phones (including iPhones).

I ran the rpf/https test @ https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and it said connectivity was successful.

But I can't cannot via rpc over https. when I http to my public ip address, it directs me to the Cisco http server page instead of my server, so wonder if that is related.

Thanks.

Many of the new firewalls use port 443 internally/externally for management. See if there is a way to change the firewall management port to something like 4443. Just make sure you remember what you changed it to.

ASKER

Okay, after talking to Cisco (who couldn't come up with solution yet), here is the status:

RPC over HTTPS is WORKING from the outside, but Entourage only allows one place to enter a server name, so you have to enter the public (outside) server name.... but then the Cisco router won't allow this NAT configuration.

Certainly somebody (I would think MANY) run Entourage using Cisco routers.... so how do I configure this?

Cisco tech felt that Virtual NAT was the way to go, but couldn't get it working.
