Local users logging into thin client
We manage a comanys network and need to figure a solutions for desktop users to be able to into a thin client and have there local profile accessible.
ex. Is there a way that i would be able to log into a thin client that is running of a windows terminal server and have all my data load. We have been testing and when setting terminal server profile to point to local profile stored on a differnt server. I am able to login and have all my data load but it copies my profile to the terminal server hard drive which is not big enough to store everyones data. I would like them to be able to log in to a thin client and have it point to profile and not copy data to terminal server drive. Is this possible with modifying the registry. This situation will only be used for emergencies.
