I am trying to figure out how to access an ATL COM server executable from a C# application. For now, I am able to do so from an unmanaged C++ application. In my research, C# requires Tlbimp.exe to be used on the COM server .tlb file. It converts the type definitions found within a COM type library into equivalent definitions in a common language runtime assembly.
In order to access the ATL COM server exe from C++, I call into the proxy/stub dll first, then it calls the ATL COM Server exe.
In C#, do I use the Tlbimp.exe generated file, in addition to the proxy/stub, in order to get access to the ATL COM Server?
