Roaming profiles between Outlook 2010 and 2007 broken ost

We have started upgrading to Office 2010, so half the PC's in our office have that and the older PCs have 2007.

When users log onto the new PCs with 2010, then back to a PC with 2007, outlook says it can't open the profile and to create a new one. Therefore some users now have two outlook profiles. One for 2007 and one for 2010.

I've done a quick google search but found no way to fix this without giving everyone two profiles. Has anyone come across a fix?

I tested disabling caching and still same problem.

Also our network needs to use Cached profiles as we use Business Contact Manaager.
Ok. It would appear that my previous comment to either stick with dual profil, or move everyone to either 2007 or 2010 would be the way to go in that case. Shame, but there is no other way if this failed.
I've had to set up two profiles for users for 2007 and 10 for now, until we upgrade all the pcs.
