Jboss behind a Firewall / NAT

I have tomcat 6 instances that connect to Jboss behind a firewall. The initial connection with the IP 192.168.5.x is fine which is a NAT of jboss’s real IP, however Jboss RMI registry pushes jboss’s real IP during the connection handshaking with tomcat (10.85.222.X) and we don't want to open this access entry in the firewall. I know that there is away to force jboss to return a custom IP (192.168.5.x) for client to connect to.
Anyone can direct me to how to do this. I spent two days now try to figure this out.
Thanks in advance.
