Printer mapping in active directory
I am switching print servers on my network and I assistance on:
1) mapping printers on user's desktop via gpo or scripts in active directory.
2) removing printers settings from desktops/laptops via gpo or scripts in active directory.
I am running active directory 2008, the new print server resides on windows 2008 R2 64 bit.

GPO is most elegant way.
It takes some adminisitration, but it works.
BTW: How to publish 25 printers to 100 users? Make 25 GPO or publish all printers in one GPO and set security on printers? I decided for last option except warnings (Access denied) in event log makes me a little nervous.

Forgot to say... If you want to deploy using GPO on XP computers, you must install GPO extension for XP (optional update).
