I have been round the internet several times trying to find a solution for my connection problems, but everything I've tried so far has failed.
My situation is this:
I am running Win 7 Ultimate and am trying to connect to our DCs running Server 2008 R2, but keep getting either "...cannot determine the content type of the HTTP response...", which returns almost instantly, or "...cannot complete the operation within the time specified...".
My machine and the servers are fully up-to-date, and I have completed every step for setting up the remote management that I've found in any help or support document on the web.
I've opened the ports in the firewalls on the servers.
I've set up the WinRM service on the servers and my local machine.
I've set the Group Policy settings on the servers.

I can connect to one server from another through the Remote Management.

Any help anyone can give would be very gratefully received.
