Exchange 2010 public folder and depencies against Exchange 2003

I have installed an Exchange 2010 server in co-existance with Exchange 2003. Now all mailboxes are moved to the new server and replication of public folders is set up. Everything seems to work ok, BUT: Even if I have set up replication of public folders from the 2003-server to the 2010-servers it seems that the public-folder store on the Exchange 2003-server need to run. If I I dismount the store on the 2003-server I cannot access the public folders from Outlook. I have configured the client-settings i EMC on the new server to point at the new public-folder database. Any tips on this?

Have you moved the public folder tree to Exchange 2010; verify the below steps once.

To move public directories suggested from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010

Open the Exchange 2010 Management Shell Command for changing the location of the public folders. You have to go with the steps given below , it can be helpful for you .

1- Browse up the Exchange Management Shell and then after configure up the location to drive:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Scripts
2- Then after type out .\AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 -TopPublicFolder "\" -ServerToAdd "exchange2010"
once the replication completed to Exchange 2010
3- The command suggested will associate the replica of entire public directories to exchange 2010 public folder enabled database. Once the replica get associated the you are able to move the replica from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. For doing the same, you have to run the EMS command
as .\MoveAllReplicas.ps1 -Server "Exchange2003" -NewServer "Exchange 2010"

You'll also want to change the default public folder hierarchy assign on the mailbox databases so that users will connect to the PF store assigned to them.

Thanks for your ansers! Just so I understand this correct: Do I have to run both the .\AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 -TopPublicFolder "\" -ServerToAdd "exchange2010"
AND the
.\MoveAllReplicas.ps1 -Server "Exchange2003" -NewServer "Exchange 2010"

What is the difference between these 2 commands?
.\AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 -TopPublicFolder "\" -ServerToAdd "exchange2010"

The above command will add your exchange 2010 public folder to replicate the datafrom Exchange 2003 PF server.

.\MoveAllReplicas.ps1 -Server "Exchange2003" -NewServer "Exchange 2010"

this command will replace a exchange2003 PF server with a new exchange 2010 server in the replication list for all public folders, including system folders, then you can decomission the Exchange 2003 PF server
