We have an Active Directory Domain, with 8 domain controllers, several member servers and 200ish clients. 98% of the clients and servers report their address to DNS. We have scavenging turned on as well.

My issue is the other 2% of the AD computers do not show up in DNS or their records are getting scavenaged. Not sure. I know an Admin user can log on to the station and register dns, but shouldn't there be an automatic way?

I don't know what more information might be helpful to help me :)
