So, I am trying to setup a VPN between office and remote location. VPN itself been working quite well (running VoIP phone over it), but recent request of enable file sharing between Location A and Location B got me scratching my head.

Office, we have Small Business Server 2003, running it's usual Active Directory duties.
Remote we have 2 PCs, and IP phone.

What I've done, I joined one of remote PCs into our domain. I had to modify LMHosts on that machine to reflect the location of domain controller.

What I am having a problem with is that I cannot browse the files on Remote PC. I can ping it from the office, tracert to it shows 2 hops (Remote VPN endpoint, and the PC itself).

From remote PC, I can browse network servers, see files, use their resources, etc. From office, I get "Network path not found" Net View  shows me system error 53.

So question is... why can't I see things on remote PC, and what should I do about it? it is clearly reachable, I can VNC into it, ping it, etc.
