How to access a Mac OS X XServe shared folder from a Windows 2008 Server

Hi,

I want to access a network drive on a Mac OS X XServe from a Windows 2008 Server but can't figure out how to do it - anyone got any ideas ?

Or I am guessing it would be the other way around. Mac would be able to connect to the samaba share on the Windows Server.
Anthony was right at the beginning there, you want to set up some Samba shares on the Mac server, here's a full article explaining:

Yeah I am still a little confused by the wording but I know he will need to set up Samba share no matter what.. :) I was just not sure which way he was trying to go from the mac to the windows or the other way...
"To specify how a given resource will be shared, click on the Options button in the File Sharing pane and select the protocol you want."

In the sharing setup window you should be able to set up another share of the same folders, and set it as a SAMBA share in the options dialog

go to settings, services, and enable the SMB share. Then using server manager for each share, select it, click protocol options and ensure that SMB is listed as a protocol & any specific options you want.
All of the above is from servermanager btw :)

Thanks for your help guys - setting up a Samba share has resolved the problem.
