I have a 32-bit app that cannot be compiled as native 64-bit because of the use of Adobe Flash (no 64-bit yet). Most registry entries are redirected or reflected by the OS just fine. But, I found that I could not set the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" entry from my 32-bit app. It just doesn't work (the app doesn't startup with Windows).
I read that you can use the KEY_WOW64_64KEY flag to get at the 64-bit hive directly. This seems to be my only recourse.
How can I specify the KEY_WOW64_64KEY flag to access the 64bit hive and set an app to run at startup (i.e. the \CurrentVersion\Run entries)?
