delete or remove ssid from cisco aironet 1130 wap
We have a cisco aironet 1130 wap running wpa-psk. When trying to change the ssid I have created 2 ssid's (on dot11Radio 0 interface).
What is the command to delete the old ssid that is no longer needed..?

thanks.. very helpful links.. but there doesn't seem to be a CLI way of deleting a ssid.. maybe there isn't one..?
When you put the adapter in, the add hardware wizard should come up. You can choose the option to browse for the driver location. With the CD in the drive you should be able to browse to the folder on the CD containing the drivers. If the software install wizard comes up during this just cancel it.
The broadcast SSID in Beacon is what you want. As for security, it does broadcast the ID of the network but if you have encryption enabled on the signal there isn't much they can do. I would recommend using the highest encryption rate the Cisco will support. Definitly read around on the Cisco site regarding your 1130.
