MP Certificate Expiration

I am recieving a message on the SMS_MP_Control_Manager that "MP has rejected the request because Client(SMSID = GUID:XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXX) Certificate is expired.

The GUID Listed refers to the MP.   Our Site is running SCCM R2 SP2 on a Server 2003R2 System and is running in Native Mode.  This is very similar to the issue described in the following post http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgribcm/thread/76fa01dd-d949-47e3-9e27-63be2787acab

I have already checked all of the certificates on the server and on the CA nothing is expired or will be expiring any time soon.  I have restarted the MP and have also uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired the ConfigMgr Client.  The mpcontrol.log file is clean and shows successful Communication for port 443.

This is very frustrating and any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

It has been doing this going on 2 weeks now.  It would be nice if it would fix itself but I am starting to give up hope.
have you tried using the utility ccmdelcert.exe to delete the certificates after uninstalling sccm client and before reinstalling it?
