I am implementing some javascript in my application to perform an action when the user hovers over an option in a drop down. So, essentially I need an onmouseover event on each option.  I have found that Firefox supports this, but the other major browsers do not.  I have tried using the onmouseover for the entire select (drop down), but it does not fire when the user moves the cursor from one option to another.  Does anyone have a workaround that will fire an event when the user hovers over individual options that would also allow me to determine which option they are hovering over?
