Jquery Cycle plugin modification and rotate/shuffle help
I am newbie to Javascript and Jquery, I am using the Jquery cycle plugin to fade in/ fade out images on my site. Plugin found here, http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle. I would like to see if rather than going in order and then looping again. After the initial set of images that it would shuffle and display the images at random rather than in the same order. I also tried using delay, but did not seem to work, only image that seemed to stay on screen longer was the 1st image. I would like to have the images stay on screen a little longer than is set by default.
<!-- Current Code -->
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function () {
$("#rotate").cycle({
fx: 'fade', // choose your transition type, ex: fade, scrollUp, shuffle, etc...
autostop:1
});
});
</script>
<!-- Without Autostop -->
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function () {
$("#rotate").cycle({
fx: 'fade', // choose your transition type, ex: fade, scrollUp, shuffle, etc...
});
});
</script>

the random:1 display the image/elements in a random way. And the timeout is the time between slide transitions: 3000 means 3 seconds, 20000 means 20 seconds and so on.
Here is a reference to it: http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/options.html

For Random is it only 0 and 1 or can use say 5 or 10 and are and 1 for the whole set or just the # of images.
Thanks

No, it is 1 or 0; "random:0" means you do not want it to be random and to be exactly displayed in the DOM order of your objects you specified in HTML. And "random:1" means you want it to be random.
