I just want to make sure I am not sacrificing any security when moving my web server to a virtual machine.  Currently, the webserver has a nic with our internal ip which goes to vlan 200 our local lan.  It has a nic with our external ip that goes to vlan 400 which is our dmz. The vlans are setup on a physical switch.  On vmware there is a virtual machine port group for internal vm network and external wan.  No vlans are setup in the port groups.  Vmotion and DRS are setup for the vm servers.  The new web server will be setup with the same an internal ip and external ip.  What would be the most secure and best way to setup this up.
