We are developing website compatible for BlackBerry OS Version 5.0. BlackBerry Support 3 types of browser setting
1. BlackBerry
2. Firefox
3. Internet Explorer
Default browser setting is “BlackBerry”.
Whether user has to change the browser setting to Firefox/Internet Explorer to see internet stuff/website?
Whether default browser setting that is “BlackBerry” is enough to see the website?
What is the importance of “BlackBerry” browser setting over “Firefox” browser setting?
Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, if you build the web site with BlackBerry OS compatibility, it will display just fine with the default browser setting in the BB. The reason there are settings for FF / IE is for the BlackBerry to send a different browser identification to the web server if the web page being viewed is not optimized for BB OS. So if you build it for BB OS it should display just fine.
