Ruby on Rails app to relay email via Exchange 2007

I have a developer team who develop intranet for our company. This problem start on relay emailing through
hosted exchange 2007. The problem is email unable to relay. I'm as Exchange admin add the intranet server to TRUSTED receive connector
The error: 5.1.7 Invalid address.

The action mailer whichn they using is:
ActionMailer:ase.delivery_method = smtp
ActionMailer:ase.smtp_settings = {
    :address => "",
    ort => "25",
    :authentication => :login,
    :user_name => "",
    password => "pass2010",
    domain => "",

I have created the new AD and Mailbox for them. Everytime, we set as above, and test email, we will receive 5.1.7 Invalid email address.

As you can see the from fuction use to call another function get the email addresses. The from: email address should be

Please help me on this since almost 2 weeks we worked on this issue without a solution
