hp nc362i integrated dual port gigabit server adapter shows as only one local area connection

HP Proliant ML310 G5 with hp nc362i integrated dual port gigabit server adapter shows as only one local area connection.
I have the same adapter on other Proliant servers (different models of the servers) and they are recognized as 2 separete Local Area Connections that can be teamed etc.

Is there some setting in the BIOS that enables/disables one of the ports?

are you sure it is a dual-port network adapter??

on the ML310 G5 server, one port is a gigabit network adapter, the interface beside it is an iLO 2 management port, not another port of a dual-port adapter.

This is how it shows in Device Manager and HP Network Configuration Utility:
HP NC362i PCIe dual port gigabit server adapter

Furthermore in BIOS under advanced setting there is a setting to change the iLO port to shared from dedicated.
It is explained that after you change it the ilLO will work over the regular NIC port.
I have it running that way on more recent server (dl320 g6)
I have both port "teamed" and tha iLO works on one of them as well.
Do you have updated driver? Download the latest driver for your OS

both ports have been teamed to a single interface with shared iLO? ever tried removing the team settings while keeping shared iLO??

paulsolov:
I do have latest driver and firmware

bbao:
Yes they are teamed and iLO works as well (this is on different server) - no I never tried desolving team with shared iLO on it - what will happen?

what's the settings on the ML310 G5??

The ML310 G5 does not show second port - that is what I am expecting to see, but it is not there.
You said in your first comment that it should not be there - maybe you are right.
I am confused as HP support did not give me an answer if I should see 2 ports or just one.
Also the settings in BIOS advanced to "shared" iLO are adding to the confusion.
