Crystal Formula returns "A boolean is required here"
That error is exactly what it says. Where are you putting this formula? If it's anywhere in a conditional formatting formula, the result has to be True/False.

I'm pretty new to Crystal so can you tell what the formula should look like? It is not in a conditional formatting formula.
Is that the whole formula? If not, show the whole thing. My point is if the upper part is True/False, the lower part can't be a string.
