@Jaguar5150:

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I have tried to re-install office and I do not see any different.

Any way to detect from the codes and data I provided in my original post above?

Please reply.

Thank you!
I think the malware cleanup you did on your other problems should help this.
Other things to try, run Windows update and get the updates for both Windows and Office, then uninstall and reinstall Office now that the malware is gone.
I will check back in the morning.

It is getting late for me too. I am going to do your solutions tomorrow and post here afterwards. Again, thanks for your absolute help!!!

See ya soon.

Thanks!!!

Here is a full list of troubleshooting steps from Microsoft

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/921541
Exit word then:

"Using Regedit navigate to the following subfolders and delete both:

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Data
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options"

Restart word and hopefully problem solved ... the files are recxreated hence no problem there.

I'm back!

Hello. Thanks for your reply. First, tell me from what you seeing that's going on with my Word 2007 Please explain. Before I go ahead and start messing with my registry, I need a complete reason and explanation of what is happening and what the solution will do. As you can tell, I am unaware of what is happening. I will also ask if this can happen again at some point and what would trigger it?

Please reply.

Thank you!

This was a problem I had for a few months last year, I searched out this as the solution at the time, all I can say is it worked for me and no hassle ... I did have to re-use it a few times before whatever was causing it 'stopped', but I have no idea what 'it' is just the fix.

Chris
Hello. I apologize for not returning my results to your comments above sooner. My many lives keep me going! :-)

Basically the issue still appears and it is not corrected after following all your possible solutions above. I am beginning to think it may be an add-on in Word 2007. I have to investigate that next.

anything else you can think of by chance???

I will be back...
That was simply something from personal experience, personally I don't have any wider experience with the issue so afraid I cannot help further.

Chris
I have worked for a company that delivered software (for their own hardware) and I can tell you that it is highly unlikely that anyone here can analyse your specific problem and produce a fix for it.

The solver would need to have the compiler listings of the specific module, and of the modules that call it in the stack trace, as well as an intimate knowledge of each of the procedures.

Hopefully, your problem is caused by unique corruption of the Word settings and can be cleared by the steps listed in the link that I gave.

Otherwise, it might be worth reporting to Microsoft in the hope that the weight of similar problems is enough to provoke some action.

Hello. Thanks for your reply..

Okay, thanks for your reply. I will go ahead and uninstall Office LIve Add-in. Hmmm... Isn't Office Live Add-In created by the very Microsoft that makes Office Word 2007??? Their own add-ons can not get along with their own software??? We are not talking 3rd party program add-ons here?

Anyways, I will get back to you after some short time to let you know if these errors have stopped.

I'll be back...

Thanks again!
Hello. The crashes with Word 2007 have stopped. I have done some tests with Word 2007 and the crashes have stopped.

So, even though this SPECIFIC TYPE of "stopped working" (crash) for Word 2007 has stopped, does it mean the other "stopped working" from my original post could or will be fixed as well???

Please reply.

Thank you!
I doubt they are related. The original was an operating system fault.
Hello. Well some time as passed and it appears the issue I was having with Word 2007 is now gone. It was that Office Live Add-in *I will guess*. I tend to think that there is more to this story than meets the eye, but the issue is gone! So, I will not close this thread.

Again, thank you for your replies!
Thanks for your answers and my solutions!

I have split the point totals between both members here. One indicated that they alluded me to the fact that his link that held the answer. I did read it quickly and I did noitce that. Second, the other member told me the code from my second Problem Signature that had the answer and solution to my issue.

Again, thank you! :-)
