I would suggest for that your own Administrative Template because these settings are stored in registry.

If you need assistance just let me know, I will send you redy template for that :)

PS. Which Windows Server do you use (2003 or 2008)?

Regards,
Krzysztof
I would suggest that you use group policy for this - you can set the wallpaper in the settings.
(see this experts-exchange question for reference:  https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21392666/Group-Policy-Desktop-Wallpaper-Active-Desktop.html )

thanks admin-if you cane  send it through-we are using both 2003/2008 boxes

@Robin i have no issues with implementing the onlye GPO -but the onlyhis  issue is how to get this none blue wallpaper
Here you are :]

Windows default blue solid desktop is: 58 110 165 (put these values into policy with space between numbers. No space at the end! :)

Path to wallpaper should be enabled and put there a space. Then all clients will have no wallpaper :)

Rename attached file from <name>.adm.txt to <name>.adm and import it to GPO. To import a template, open existing GPO or create new one, click on "Administrative Templates" by right mouse button and choose "Add/Remove Templates". Point to location with ADM file and accept it.

These new settings will be available in "User Configuration" node under "Administrative Templates\Desktop" node. To be able see them, select "Administrative Templates", go to "View" menu and choose "Filtering" and uncheck the bottom 2 checkboxes.

You can modify this template as you wish. You can also translate messages for your language :)

Krzysztof

Hey -looks like we have got -i have been testing on my machine looks fine -but a small hitch .however 2 questions

we still have choice to change wallpaper which we dont want .although after gp/ update -it vanishes ?

tommorw ,if we want to change the wallpaper ti any JPG file -it will be smooth?

can you suggest something
No, to prevent users wallpaper changes, you need to use a GPO setting. Ig you want to use JPG files you need to allow users for ActiveDesktop. If you want to completely disable wallpaperchanges you can do it simply using GPO.

If you need assistance just let me know :)

Krzysztof
