i'll admit that i too am not that impressed with the anti-spam and Gateway AV in the sonicwall. &nbsp;i haven't seen the newest out yet...hope it's better.

We use Xwall at a lot of our Exchange sites for anti-spam and are very happy with it. &nbsp;However many sites also have SonicWalls bundled with anti-spam. &nbsp;Is there any way we can make these two work together? I like the idea of doing 'off-LAN' anti-spam but the SonicWall product doesn't look as powerful as Xwall and I'm hoping to get a 'best of both worlds' combination. Again we use Exchange servers for our mail.

Various techniques are used to prevent email spam (unsolicited bulk email). No technique is a complete solution to the spam problem, and each has trade-offs between incorrectly rejecting legitimate email (false positives) vs. not rejecting all spam (false negatives) - and the associated costs in time and effort.
