Quicklaunch icons change image and don't allow changing back of Office 2007 application

Just recently started having this problem when I shutdown my system, and reboot, the quicklaunch icons come up with images which are not related to the actual program that the program points to.  When I try to change these icons back, most of them change back, but none of the Office 2007 applications have the Change Icon command button enabled in the shortcut properties dialog.

If I delete the Office 2007 shortcuts from the quicklaunch, and add them back with the correct icons, the stay that way until I log off or shutdown, and then log back on.

Take a look at this article about the icon cache and see if it can help you:

The icon cache may be too small and / or need to be rebuilt and both are addressed here.

Worked like a charm.  I had to delete the icon cache db file, but that seems to have done it.
