Citrix Opinions Needed

Hi All,

We are looking at either migrating to TS on windows 2008 or getting into Citrix. Looking at Citrix's website, I see a number of solutions.

We do not want Xenapps or any other virtual hosting service, but a terminal-service like app.

I've read about Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite, is this still available or has it been replaced by XenServer?

Which is the the citrix-equivalent to Terminal Services?

Right, so with Xenapp, is that the OS itself you install off a cd and has the features you implement? Along with the ICA client that users will need?
You install the Windows OS, install the roles/features needed, update Windows, install XenApp, install applications and then publish the applications.

From what Im reading, with Xenapp, users dont connect via ica like I use to use a long time ago. Instead, if you click on a program icon and its not locally installed, it will be delivered to your laptop/pc via the internet...is this correct?

Sorry Im trying to get upto speed on this solution.
Everything is still ICA.
