I have removed some computers from the network in the Windows SBS console but they still come up on the status report requiring updates - these have also been referenced when I try to install another computer - suspect trying to use same IP address.

Is there a way I can totally delete these computers.

Go To start > Run > dsa.msc

Search for computers in there, if they are there just delete them

Log on to your SBS Server.
Open Administrative Tools --> Windows Server Update Services. Expand your server node, Click options then click "Server Cleanup Wizard" in the center column. When the wizard starts deselect everything but "Computers not contacting the server". Click next to run the wizard.

This will remove computers which have not contacted the server in 30 days. If you removed these computers more recently then open the SBS console, go to "Security" then the "Updates" tab. Click on "Change the software updates settings" in the Tasks pane to the right. In the window that opens select "Included computers" and remove the computers you no longer want.
