We are building a Drupal site for a client and they want it only on their existing, dedicated Windows 2003 server which runs their main web site.
When we requested the installation of PHP and MySQL on their server, their hosting providers went ahead and installed Wampserver 2.0, although we would have been fine with just PHP and MySQL running on IIS 6.0 or 7.0
Now, is Wampserver okay to actually run a live site as opposed to being used as a development environment? Any advice would be appreciated. The site we are building will be public facing site serving thousands of visitors each day.
