Websense Reporting

Good morning,

We will shortly be migrating from Websense 6.3.2 to 7.5 and would like to set-up custom reports to monitor Internet usage. I would like a report which summarises individual user browse time grouped by AD OU. The standard Presentation Reports do not seem to allow this customisation.

Any help much appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can do this by scheduling investigation reports and not presentation reports.

I have attempted this in Investigative Reports however it limits the records returned by a 'Select Top *' value - how can I just return all records?
Ehab SalemIT ManagerCommented:
The top can go to 500. Isn't this enough?

We have over 1000 OUs and there is also another restriction on the Display * Results which only shows the top * users.

I don't think this is possible, but you can check with WebSense Support maybe there is a workaround.

Just contacted Websense support and there is no workaround. I have raised a feature request.
