Image missing in html email signature

I am running Windows 7 and Office 2003. I have created an email signature which includes a small JPEG but when I create an email in Outlook the image is missing. If I open the HTML email signature file in either Word or Internet Explorer the image is there.

What have I done wrong and how can I correct this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
