Executing report Error using BO (ORA-01013)

Im having an Oracle error while executing a BusinessObjects report. The error given is the following:

"Server Used:  Web_IntelligenceJobServer
Error Message: 10901: Database error: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation . Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)"

The server configuration is Business Objects SP4 running under Solaris."

I've tried to run manually the query directly on the Oracle database and it works, so it is not a database problem.

I've also tried to increase the Timeout parameter for the Web Intelligence Report Server to 180 minutes, but the query gets this same error within 10-20 minutes.

Do you have any suggestion to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have a great answer for you but I remember having a similar problem years ago when WebI was pretty new. I think that it ended up being a bug and at the time BO was working on a fix. Since you have SP4, I would assume you have that fix.

Also, If you are using an ODBC connection, there may be a timeout set on that as well.

Not using ODBC connection.

Whay type of connection are you using?

I guess its JDBC. Where can I check this to get an accurate answer?

I am not near a BO server but I think you can see the connection if you are editing the Universe or on the BO server I think you can see the Universe Connections there too.

I haven't worked with JDBC so hopefully someone can provide further help here but I think you can adjust the timeout for the JDBC connection in the WEB-INF/web.xml file on the server.
