I would like to purchase a Laptop on which I can run multiple virtual machines without a problem. I was thinking of loading ESX server onto it. I found that the Alienware M17x is a very powerful machine. &nbsp;I would like to know if:-<br />
<br />
1. Anyone has loaded ESX server on to this laptop<br />
2. Any other laptop which will do the job just aswell<br />
3. Any other related advice would be great.<br />

A laptop or notebook is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. Although originally there was a distinction between laptops and notebooks, the former being bigger and heavier than the latter, there is often no longer any difference. VMware has many software products that run on desktops, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS, which allows the virtualizing of the x86 architecture.  Its enterprise software hypervisor for servers, VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi), is a bare-metal hypervisor that runs directly on the server hardware and does not require an additional underlying operating system.
