Scanner in Windows 7

Hi,
I have a Fujitsu 4340c scanner with a Kofax Adrenaline 650i SCSI card on a W7 system. The scanner/card combination worked perfect in XP, but now the SCSI card appears as SCSI controller (with no drivers) in Device Manager, and W7 doesn't see the scanner, although I have installed the drivers for both devices. What am I doing wrong?

seems like the Kofax doesn't compatible with Windows 7, you can search in here:

Looking at this page on the Kofax website, the Adrenaline 650i should be supported in Vista, which may assist you with installing it in Windows 7.

"Support for Windows Vista 32-bit. VRS 4.10 SP 2 can be installed and run on Windows Vista 32-bit systems. Please refer to the Windows Vista Considerations section in the Release Notes. NOTE: You MUST have a Vista compatible driver for your scanner in order for VRS to function properly with the device."

The service packs and patches can be downloaded from here:

Are you running Win7 32-bit or 64-bit?

Are you sure your drivers are 64-bit?

Thanks profgeek. I installed Windows Xp mode as suggested by amila_hendahewa:, but when installing the drivers from the KOFAX latest disc for the Adrenaline SCSI card I do not have the option for the 650i card, only the 650, the 650 Ultra Wide and the 450 fast card. When I install the driver I get "Device cannot start, error code 10". I have searched all over for the 650i SCSI card driver but I cannot find it anywhere

I'm not sure where to get your particular drivers, but if you have Windows 7, x64, you'll need 64-bit drivers that are compatible with at least Windows Vista.

Thank you all. This is the conclusion: the Kofax Adrenaline SCSI card is not supported in Windows 7, period. I ended up replacing it by a LSI 21320-IS card, which is discoverable in W7 and works ok with the Fujitsu scanner (so far).
