Hi Experts,

I have a SCCM, all my computers are in AD. I was going to install the sccm client on couple computers. From the SCCM console, how do I see those 2 computers which I installed SCCM client on them?

You need to run an AD system discovery in order for the computers to show up in your console.  From there you can use various methods such and client push to install the client to them.
Go to Site Management, expand you site, expand site settings, discovery methods
Right click Active Directory System Discovery and click the polling schedule tab, check the box "Run discovery as soon as possible"  and click apply.
Go back to your collection and update the membership.  The systems should begin showing up.
Hello SJCA!

To answer you in the simplest way... if the ConfigMgr client is completely (successfully) installed, the first place to locate the systems would be in the All Systems collection.

This can be found here:

expand the site database --> computer management --> collections --> All Systems

You can then use the Look for option or just browse the list in the right pane.  The systems should be located there.

If you already discovered them and they are in the console, you can right click on the computers and click install client.  To monitor the install you can view the log file "ccmsetup.exe" which is located under C:\windows\system32\ccmsetup or C:\windows\ccmsetup\ for x64.
correction:  ccmsetup.log, not exe.
