Outlook 2007 Calendar Meetings not being removed when cancelled

I have a user that is having a bit of trouble with Calendars in Outlook 2007.
She created a meeting and sent out an invite and then had to cancel the meeting. Upon cancellation the meeting had been removed from her calendar but none of the other recipients of the meeting. Any ideas on why this may be happening?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

After cancelling a meeting in Outlook, the user must click "Send Cancellation".  The meeting will be deleted from that user's calendar and a cancellation notice will be sent to the other participants, but the meeting won't be removed from their calendar unless they accept the cancellation.

Did the user click "send cancellation"? If so, did the other users get the cancellation notice?
