Save emails from Outlook to Sharepoint.

Hello,

We are in the process of implementing SharePoint 2010 in our business, and we are looking into Outlook <-> SharePoint connectivity. The purpose is to manage and store our correspondance and documents in an easy to use, easy to find, well structured and secure way.

As we've found a few solutions for this, we're wondering if anyone have any experience with the following solutions (links below), or can recommend any other solutions.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi daxa78,
Do you know that sharepoint lists can have email address, and if you will send email on this address, email will saved in this list with attachments.
All you need it is to configure incoming email services in sharepopint central administration and create sharepoint document library and to configure it to receive emails.

Yes we use that all the time :-) It is a great feature.

I did some research on this recently for a client and found the following (prices in British Pounds but hopefully still a useful indicator):

Scinaptic OnePlaceMail http://www.scinaptic.com/oneplacemail.html 10 users £683
Colligo Contributor Add-In for Outlook http://www.colligo.com/products/sharepoint/contributor_add-in.asp 10 users £883.01
http://www.sharepointemailfiler.com/features.asp
http://www.handshakesoftware.com/Products/EmailDirector/tabid/71/Default.aspx  Very expensive

For the features that my client was looking for, OnePlaceMail was the best choice.

Colligo is a pretty good one, you can also download and use it in trial mode for 30 days I believe with not commitment.
